The self-propelled floating crane of Project D-9030 was designed for lifting operations, fitting of chains and anchors of the floating berths, and also for loading on warships and submarines of various weapons and cargo. Self-propelled floating cranes of this project served on all fleets of the USSR and later - the Russian Federation. In total, more than 10 harbor self-propelled floating cranes of this type were built for the Navy.

Self-Propelled Floating Crane PK-119025 laid down at the Budapest, Hungary (yard No.2320), commissioned 1978.
