berthing operations in harbor, off-harbour and coastal areas, oil spill response
activities, assisting operations in ports. Tugs of this project served on all
fleets of the USSR and later - the Russian Federation.
Harbor tug RB-498
laid down at the Gorokhovets Shipyard (yard No.566), 20 June 1974 commissioned.
August 1997 the tugboat was transferred to the Ukrainian Naval Forces with rename
to Krasnoperekopsk (hull number U947).
