A vessel of special construction âesigned to provide long-term storage of stocks of material resources in the conditions of both equipped and non-equipped coasts, as well as for the deployment of facilities for providing fleet ships. A characteristic feature of this project is a hull made of reinforced concrete. The floating warehouses of this project were built for the USSR Navy in the Gorodets Shipyard since 1965.

Floating Warehouse PSKL-18 laid down at Gorodets Shipyard (yard No.726), commissioned on 1991 and was assigned to the Black Sea Fleet.

Then the vessel was renamed to SKhZ-18.

Now in service.
