Small Hydrographic Boat MGK-1002
Project 1403A
 

This boat belongs to a large series of small hydrographic boats of Project 1403A, code Kayra. All boats of this series were built in the period from December 1969 to the present moment at the Pella Shipyard. They are designed to operate on raids in harbors and estuaries.

Boats of this project with a displacement of about 9 tons have seaworthiness of up to 3 points. The hull of the boat made from fiberglass. A propulsion system of one diesel engine and one pump-jet provides a full speed of 14 knots, a cruising range of 150 miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. For power supply, a G732 generator with a power of 1.6 kW was used (28 V). The total capacity of the boat is 1 tons. The navigational armament of the boat is the UPKP M-10 compass and the PEL-3 echo sounder. The radio equipment is represented by one R-104 transceiver. The autonomy of the boat is one day.

Small Hydrographic Boat MGK-1002 laid down at Pella Shipyard (yard No.106), commissioned on 1978 and was assigned to the Black Sea Fleet.
