Salvage Tug Orion
Project 733S / Okhtenskiy class

A salvage tug is a specialized type of tugboat which is used to rescue ships which are in distress or in danger of sinking. The salvage tug of project 733S (rescue variant of standart Project 733 seagoing tug) are equipped with 2 fire monitors and water pumps. Salvage tugs of this project served on all fleets of the USSR and later - the Russian Federation. In total, 14 salvage tugs of this type were built for the Navy in Leningrad.

Salvage tug Orion laid down at the Shipyard No.370 Petrozavod, Leningrad, commissioned in 1963.

Decommissioned in 2019.
