Diving Boat RVK-2159
Project 14157

For ordinary operations in areas of the seas with shallow depths, diving vessels and boats of various displacement were used in the Navy of the USSR. Project RV1415 boats (diving variant of standart Project 1415 boat) were a large series of cutters that were built for the Soviet navy starting in 1976 and are in use up to this day on the rivers and harbors for Russia. Diving boats of this project served on all fleets of the USSR and later - the Russian Federation. In total, more than 70 boats of this type were built.

Project 14157 is a diving boat developed on the basis of the widespread project 1415 boat, which is a project of its deep modernization to meet modern requirements. The boat project was developed by Vympel Design Bureau, Nizhny Novgorod. The series of boats of this project is 8 units.

The seaworthiness of the boat ensures safe sailing when the sea is rough up to 5 points, the performance of diving operations when the sea is up to 3 points.

Structurally, it is a single-deck single-screw displacement boat with a single-deck wheelhouse and an engine room in the middle, with a burl and an open working platform in the stern. The hull of the boat is steel. For lifting cargo, including from depth, a hydraulic crane for 0.75 tons is installed on the boat. The diving equipment of the boat includes diving television equipment, equipment for underwater welding and cutting, a pressure chamber RKuMu, a diving folding ladder and a gazebo, 2 sets universal diving equipment SVU-5-1, high-pressure air compressors, underwater lighting equipment. The autonomy of navigation in terms of fuel reserves is 7 days.

Diving boat RVK-2159 laid down at the Moscow SSRZ (yard. No.109) and completed at Rybinsk Shipyard, commissioned in 2015 and was assigned to the Black Sea Fleet.

Now in service.
